On April 7, Matthew Gamache, CES Vice President, Analytics and Operations - and Bowdoin alum - joined an esteemed group of panelists at The Solar Panel, an event hosted by Bowdoin College, which focused on a first-of-its-kind collaborative solar project between Bowdoin, Amherst College, Hampshire College, Smith College, and Williams College – considered the largest solar farm in New England. Matt, along with panelists Anna Toenjes, of Sol Systems, Richard Jordan of Flycatcher LLC, and Erik Nelson and John Simoneau of Bowdoin College discussed how larger scale solar projects come to fruition and how these projects aid in progressing Bowdoin’s own sustainability goals.
