Anthony Viola is a leader in geospatial analytics and energy data management, with expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), energy forecasting, and electrical grid modeling. He originally joined CES’ sister company GridSolar as a GIS Specialist in 2019 before transitioning to CES in 2020 as a Senior GIS & Data Analyst. His leadership and technical expertise led to his promotion to Associate Manager of Data Services in 2022 and Managing Director of Data Services in 2024. In this role, he oversees project design, team management, geospatial and energy analytics, and process automation, contributing to innovations in energy forecasting, grid reliability, and solar feasibility modeling. Additionally, Anthony is the Founder and CEO of Arcudigm, LLC, a geospatial mapping and analysis firm specializing in digital preservation, environmental monitoring, software development, and data management. He holds a B.A. in Geography-Anthropology with a Minor in Archaeology and a Certificate in Applied GIS from the Muskie School of Public Service at the University of Southern Maine, as well as an A.A. in Liberal Studies from Northern Maine Community College. He is also an FAA-certified Remote Pilot.
