Lakshya Bharadwaj graduated from the University of Maine in 2022 with a Master of Science in Financial Economics. At UMaine, Lakshya conducted and published research on cryptocurrency markets and studied advanced econometrics, financial management, investment analysis, energy economics, and regional economics. As a graduate student, Lakshya also authored a research paper proposing a novel PPA pricing mechanism for renewable generators. Before graduate school, Lakshya earned his bachelor’s at Berea College in Kentucky in Economics and Political Science with a math minor. Prior to CES, Lakshya worked at EDP Renewables in Houston as a Global Risk Analyst, working on the North America market risk team. At CES, Lakshya has been involved extensively with energy budgeting, commodities hedging and tracking, load forecasting research, macroeconomic market factors, and energy data analytics.
