Emmett Burns joined Competitive Energy Services as an Energy Analyst in 2022, was promoted to Senior Energy Analyst in 2023, and to Associate Manager of Analytics in 2025. Emmett’s primary interest is the electricity sector, and he looks to bring his previous experience in EV Charging to his clientele here at CES. Prior to joining CES, Emmett held two research assistant positions at Colby College, one of which consisted of the creation of a drone network simulation, and the other of data analysis within a forestry lab. Additionally, he held a position as Technical Specialist for a lighting and Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station installation company in New York. He holds a B.A. in Computer Science and Spanish from Colby College.
