The NEPOOL 12-month electricity strip gained 3.32% week-over-week to $82.62/MWh. The 2027 and 2028 strips saw a rise over the past week while the 2029 strip held constant. The NYMEX prompt month went down $0.03 week-over-week, landing at $2.91/MMBtu. The NYMEX rolling 12-month strip decreased by $0.03/MMBtu to $3.17/MMBtu. Storage levels saw a net increase of 41 Bcf for the week ending June 10th. The 12-month rolling strip for Brent was up 9% week-over-week to $81.34/barrel and for WTI by 9.4% to $76.80/barrel. Renewed tensions in the Persian Gulf are exerting upward pressure on crude oil markets.
