Andrew Price is the Senior Energy Analyst with Competitive Energy Services, LLC. Mr. Price has been with CES since March 2001. Prior to joining CES, Mr. Price worked for MRW & Associates – an energy consulting firm based in Oakland California - where he was involved in a variety of projects related to electricity usage, the regulation of utilities and electricity deregulation. Mr. Price oversees the analytics department and is also responsible for many of CES’s green initiatives including: green power procurement, demand response program evaluation, energy efficiency and onsite renewable generation project analysis, and greenhouse gas benchmarking and monitoring. Mr. Price and the CES analytics team provides a weekly summary of energy market conditions for clients, performs detailed financial analysis for energy users in varied rate classes, conducts bill audits and helps customers negotiate favorable contract terms and conditions. Mr. Price has additional experience with the following: modeling revenue and cost streams for combined heat and power and renewable generation systems; advising commercial and industrial customers on renewable energy procurement options; and, assisting end users in negotiations with utilities to obtain more favorable transmission and distribution rates.

Education: B.A. Bowdoin College in Physics and Environmental Studies and also from Stanford University in Civil & Environmental Engineering.
