About the Internship
CES is looking for a Technical Business Analyst intern to join our team this summer. This internship will allow you to gain experience in a variety of roles within our company. Here you will be able to learn more about the energy industry, what we do, and the various sectors of the business. There will be plenty of challenging and interesting projects for an intern to be involved with.
This is a paid internship opportunity based out of our Portland location. You will report to our Controller and Managing Director of Information Technology during the duration of your internship.
General Duties
Initial responsibilities could include the following for the Controller:
• Working with our finance and accounting department on various projects such as invoicing, financial statements, accounts payable, etc.
• Organizing and reconciling supplier and client payments
• Scanning and organizing documents for a paperless file system
• Working with our Human Resource department on compliance projects
• Other projects that become available during the internship
Initial responsibilities could include the following for the IT department:
• Review base client data in our ERP and CRM systems and ensure the information is correct and up to date.
• Assist with data clean up
• Assist with the development of our CRM system
• Other projects that become available during the internship

Required Minimum Skills
• A student working towards a four-year degree in an information technology or business-related field
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
• Be able to work independently and complete tasks assigned
• Positive, self-motivated attitude
• Adaptable to a flexible, fast-paced work environment
