by Tobias Grindal, Energy Analyst

Crude oil futures fell in a holiday-shortened trading week after the Commerce Department revised its Q1 GDP growth rate downward, the EIA reported an unexpected storage increase, and OPEC members agreed to keep their production target unchanged at 30 million barrels a day. Natural gas futures fell every day last week as forecasts for below-normal temperatures for the start of June in the Midwest and on the East Coast, and a larger-than-expected stockpile injection helped move the 12-month forward strip down nearly six percent for the week.
